Weapons were spectacularly inaccurate, to the point that you couldn't really trust your crosshairs at any kind of range. Instead, IO Interactive made a game that riffed on the crime thrillers of Tarantino, Tony Scott and Michael Mann, packed with terse, brutal firefights, realistic locations, and a healthy dollop of swearing and psychosis. Some of us who played it loved it for its brave, gritty storyline, its tense, violent atmosphere, and just the fact that - for once - we had an action game that didn't follow all the usual space marine/Saving Private Ryan/Call of Duty cliches. I tried firing up Portal 2 (DX9), however I could not get it to engage in Anaglyph mode, nor shutter mode.(Pocket-lint) - Were it not for one thing, Kane and Lynch: Dead Men might have been one of 2007's most original and entertaining shooters. Installation on Win10 2004 went smoothly. Perhaps our first objective might be to unlock all modes so people can test with their various setups. The supported outputs as per dropdown, are: Portal 2 appears in the dropdown however is not listed above. The list above seems to be extensive, however not complete e.g. The counted number of games in the dropdown list is 280+, not including additional user tested games. Experiment with it and find out what state it seems to be with current drivers, and OS. I don't know how their game profiles work. I'll be adding the code to a Github repo so that other people can contribute. That means it has good DX9 support, but just barely got to see the start of DX11. Keep in mind that the code is pretty old, from 2011, which was the last version they shipped. We can build on this solid foundation and see where it takes us in 3D land.
